Why test?
Ever wish you had a crystal ball to help you determine whether a
candidate is right for you? Candidates are smart and prepared. They
rehearse for interviews and have the answers to many of your
questions in advance. When hiring you want to use testing tools to
probe deeper and find the hidden strengths and weaknesses that are
difficult to identify from a few hours of interviewing. .

DISC Analysis:
The DISC analysis measures four key facets of a candidate's
behavior:
Dominance Response to challenges and problems.
Influence Influence over others.
Steadiness Response to the pace of the environment.
Compliance Compliance with rules and procedures.
It also provides:
- The ideal characteristics for the job as demonstrated by
those most successful.
- The candidate’s behavioral characteristics.
- Insights into the candidate’s value to the organization plus
tips for better communication, the ideal environment, keys to
motivating and areas for improvement.
The comprehensive DISC report also enables a manager to manage
the new employee more effectively with the insights gained from the
testing.
Case Study Testing:
- Case studies, designed for specific position and industry
requirements enable candidates to demonstrate communication,
analytical, problem-solving, management, interpersonal and other
competencies identified in the candidate profile, including
industry and functional knowledge.
- The cases are scored in relation to the ideal candidate
profile and criteria relating to the problems posed. Focused
questions enable the interviewer to determine whether apparent
weaknesses are real.
Role of Performance Solutions Group:
- We conduct the testing, which can be taken at any time
either electronically or using hard copy.
- On receipt of the completed DISC questionnaire submitted
directly by the candidate, we prepare the report and summary
results.
- We assist, as required, in developing the cases.
Test results are not the ultimate decider. The company’s decision
is based on how the candidate responds to interviewing, interactions
with the selection committee and track record of success, used in
conjunction with the test results.
